01.洗衣服≠washclothes

实际上

把“洗衣服”翻译成“washclothes”本身没错

这个表达强调的是“手洗”

而且含有冲洗的感觉

但欧美人确实比较少说washclothes

而是用一个专门的短语：dothelaundry

强调的是“用洗衣机洗衣服”

或者到“洗衣店洗衣服”

因为欧美比较发达

洗衣机早已家家普及

洗衣店也到处都是

他们可能早就忘了“手洗-wash”这回事

所以说到洗衣服

脱口而出的就是“dothelaundry”

但是没有洗衣机的时候

说washclothes也没啥问题

人家一样能听懂

还可以说dothewashing
